Bono y The Edge participaron en la campaña de recaudación de fondos "Stand Up For Ucrania" donde activistas, deportistas, artistas y un largo etcétera pidieron a los líderes mundiales que prometan su apoyo a las personas desplazadas por la fuerza en el país.

Fue una especie de mitin mundial en Redes Sociales que se produjo antes de un evento de compromiso en Varsovia (Polonia), organizado por Global Citizen en asociación con la presidenta de la Comisión Europea, Ursula Von der Leyen, y el primer ministro canadiense, Justin Trudeau, donde se recaudó más de $10bn en subvenciones y préstamos para apoyar a quienes han huido de sus hogares en Ucrania.

Bono y The Edge participaron en las redes sociales con una versión en acústico de "Walk On" y también informaron que:

“El valiente pueblo de Ucrania está luchando por su libertad, y por la nuestra, frente a una violencia indescriptible y una invasión injusta. Más de 4 millones de personas, en su mayoría mujeres y niños, han tenido que huir para salvar sus vidas, una población casi del tamaño de Irlanda. Los líderes mundiales deben ponerse de pie y apoyar a los ucranianos ahora.. aquellos que están luchando y aquellos que han huido.. y apoyar a los refugiados en todas partes que han sido forzados a abandonar sus hogares y sus tierras'. #StandUpForUcrania
